This blend was intended to be grounding yet light. It really brings energy into that 3rd Chakra space with the dandelion clearing out stagnation in the kidneys, pancreas and liver while the lemon balm is calming like a soothing back rub. The lemon verbena, lemon basil and lemon grass hit all the notes with anti fungal, anti inflammatory and anti septic properties. They bring stimulation to the digestive system, working in harmony with the Dandy leaf to move things right along and keep you from getting weighted down or clogged up. All while being tasty.
It’s refreshing and slightly tart in a green way. It’s not lemonade tart and it’s got more base to it than lemon water (thanks Dandelion) but it’s still a crisp way to get in nutrients and some good herbal love. Lemon is one of my favorite flavors so I wanted to hit as many of those notes as possible and you all know I don’t think anyone could go wrong with adding more Dandy to your life, so it’s a win/win for me. I prefer this iced and unsweetened but warm it’s yummy with little maple syrup on a stormy night.
