Milky Oats comes from the Avena plant and is harvested just when the buds are their "milky stage" and release a whitish sap when squeezed. This stage has long been prized as a tonic for all things stress related. Think- burnout, exhaustion, PTSD, trauma, etc. It's been likened to the best treatment for when you are "frazzled or frayed" and that's because oats build or rather rebuild you bit by bit over time. They restore what can be restored or start fresh if needed but they are the construction herb.
