Rooted: a class
Plants are so very wise. In the beginning they spend their energy tending to developing roots- the anchor, stabilizing its very existence, the provider of water and other nutrients, communication amongst the other trees, plants and fungi. Only after growing roots do they grow up toward the sun BUT they continue to do the hard work underground while we enjoy the flowers and leaves.
In this class we will celebrate the lessons, the medicine and the magic that roots have for the plant, the soil and of course us. We'll dive deep in our understanding, our appreciation, our connection, harvesting and uses of these roots.
We use them as tonics, immune system aids, to clear congestion, grounding, clearing and so much more. Roots are the very foundation for the life of the plant and that is part of the potency.
In this class we will dive deep- pun intended into the world of root medicine to explore the connections, intentions and uses of some of the most used and some underused roots and how they can teach us and help with healing everything from acute issues to deeper ancestral issues.
This class is great for anyone wanting to understand plants or perhaps themselves.
Class will be in person in The Classroom next to The Apothecary.
There will be tea and a light snack.
