A wonderful cuppa for those of us who want a sweet treat that is good for us and helps us sleep and stress less. I combined the anxiety and stress reducing power of the mimosa tree, aka Happy Plant or Sensitive Plant with Nutmeg which is used in Ayurvedic medicine for it's ability to help calm the overactive thoughts that wake us in the middle of the night. After that I added it to some inflammation healing herbs like ginger, turmeric and a hint of cayenne to boost it all. Finally I put in loads of cacao powder for a tasty drink that is actually a treat for the body and mind.
Instructions - 2-3 tsps of herbs mixed into 1 cup of nut milk, heat until hot and add 1 tsp of coconut oil and maple syrup to taste. Enjoy before bed.
