This book club is a chance to read fiction books that have have a element of plants. Some will be historical fiction, fantasy, romantasy, myth retelling, cozy mystery etc but all will have somesort of plant aspect to it. So if you like to talk about witches, goddesses, herbalists and deepen connections to like minded people. check us out.
You will need to register for inperson limited space) and online (to get the link to join) but the cost is totally free. Books will be announced at least 6 weeks out so you have time to buy or check out a copy. We will have a discussion and some herbal goodies and hopefully build a community.
This book club is open to everyone. There will be discussions that are frank and honest and sometimes might be triggering.
Circe is a 2018 mythic fantasy. Set during the Greek Heroic Age, it is an adaptation of various Greek Myths, most notably the Odyssey, as told from the perspective of the witch Circe. The novel explores Circe's origin story and narrates Circe's encounters with mythological figures.
